Musician, mirror twin, woodworker
Theodore Schork is an Ann Arbor native, having resided in Washtenaw County for most of his life. The only exception was when he was younger and lived in Germany for a year on his father’s sabbatical. Luckily for Theodore, his family returned, and he decided to raise his own family in Chelsea. He loves it here because of the great academic system, music, history, and sightseeing. All these wonderful opportunities make it the best place to nurture and enjoy a family.
Theodore is the proud parent of three—Deegan, who is in college, Adam and Bella, who are about to attend college and, like him, are twins! Unlike his children, he is a mirror-identical twin. Their family also includes a dog and two cats.
When Theodore isn’t working at Bank Michigan, he enjoys playing music. He has played the drums for decades but also dabbles in other instruments like the ukulele, harmonica, and lap steel guitar. In his free time, Theodore and his brother have a workshop where they craft instruments, furniture, and sculptures together. When he wants to relax, he watches western movies or shows because of the combination of historical information, action-packed plotlines, and moral lessons.
At Bank Michigan, Theodore enjoys playing a role in helping clients’ businesses thrive. Whether he helps operate successful businesses through commercial loans or deposit relationships that are established with Bank Michigan, he is deeply committed to customer satisfaction. Everything that Bank Michigan is involved with is measured by the significance and the impact of community development that the initiative makes. Theodore considers it a privilege to be a part of tailor-made experiences with these enterprises through close collaboration on the financial process. For Bank Michigan and for Theodore, every business success is a success for the community.
